Food Truck Frenzy
Hey, Stamford Food Festival returns for two fantastic weekends of eating: August 11-13 and 18-20! This highly-anticipated 6th annual event promises a Food Truck Frenzy each weekend with more than 50 food trucks and vendors! Be sure not to miss ‘PIZZAPALOOZA,’ CT’s Ultimate Pizza Party, or TAYLORMADE,’ Taylor Swift dance party, plus much more!
On both weekends, enjoy an outstanding lineup of local and regional talent on the main stage at Mill River Park. Additionally, this festival will host a beer garden featuring Blind Rhino Brewing Company and food offerings like mechanical bull riding and axe throwing for entertainment – while kids can have fun too with balloon artists, bounce houses, and face painters!
Stamford Food Festival offers an ideal opportunity for residents and food truck enthusiasts to support the community while enjoying some of their most beloved cuisines. Tickets are available both online and at the gate with special group discounts available; children under the age of 12 are admitted free, while adults aged 21+ must purchase a ticket and use it to sample any food and beverages provided by participating trucks; visitors are also encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for seating purposes.
Live Music
At each weekend of the Hey Stamford Food Festival, more than 50 food vendors and restaurants come together with live performances on its main stage, such as Nelly (August 14), One Night of Queen: Performed by Gary Mullen & The Works (August 15), Purple Xperience: A Tribute to Prince (August 21) or Purple Xperience: A Tribute to Prince.
Todd English and Aaron May, culinary stars as well as television personalities, will both be present to host cooking demonstrations and interact with fans at this year’s event. Additionally, this year features a Taylor Swift dance party and Christian Petroni of Food Network fame hosting Pizzapalooza for an afternoon full of parm-centric delicacies.
A spacious Beer Garden will offer attendees 21+ an assortment of refreshing brews and wines to keep the night calm, while Blind Rhino Bar will feature hand-selected beverages from The Good Life and their custom cocktails.

Beer Garden
The Beer Garden is a waterfront hangout offering hand-selected food trucks and cold craft beers from all around. Open to attendees 21+, it also features live music performances throughout its run. Nestled within Shippan Landing, this waterside gathering promises to be the ideal summer spot.
Over two weekends, visitors to this festival will experience over 50 of Connecticut’s premier food trucks and restaurants, along with special events like PIZZAPALOOZA, CT’s Ultimate Pizza Party’, Taylor Swift Dance Party TAYLOR MADE: TAYLOR MADE TAYLOR MADE (TAYLOR MADE is CT) as well as meeting Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey! (Sat 8/12).
Though primarily an adult event, there are plenty of family-oriented activities for kids at this event too. The Kids Zone features bounce houses, balloon artists, and face painters – perfect for keeping young visitors occupied! Children under age 10 receive free admission with an adult ticket holder; backpacks, large purses, and outside food or beverages are not permitted.
The Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in North Stamford is an outdoor classroom where visitors can learn, experience, and discover natural habitats. Comprised 13 gardens with over 2,000 species of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Kids Zone
Hey, Stamford Food Festival returns for two days of delicious food and fun, featuring over 40 food trucks, the Blind Rhino Beer Garden, live music performances, and a Kids Zone. All ages events and children under ten can attend free with a ticket-holding parent or guardian; entertainment options for adults and kids include food-eating competitions, mechanical bull rides, axe throwing competitions, and much more!
This year, the festival is marking its third anniversary by expanding to include more vendors, activities, and food trucks. Notable acts at this year’s celebration include Michael Lee from NBC’s “The Voice,” blues legends and regional musical performers, and a Kidzone with games and crafts for young attendees.
The Kids Zone features bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, face painting, and balloon artists for children to enjoy. Children can also participate in the James Beard Foundation Future Foodies Pavilion to gain nutritional knowledge and culinary skills or join the Balanced Plate Scavenger Hunt and earn stamps as they sample food around the festival grounds.
